Here are the core stages of the BPM lifecycle:
- Design: Identifying existing processes and the design of "to-be" processes.
- Modeling: Taking the theoretical design and introducing combinations of variables (e.g., changes in rent or materials costs).
- Execution: Implementing the process in a repeatable way.
- Monitoring: Tracking individual processes, so that information on their state can be easily seen.
- Optimization: Retrieving process performance information from modeling or monitoring phase.
ERP / SAP Integration
When implementing an ERP like SAP, we align these theoretical processes to the standard best practices of the system, identifying Fit (where standard works) and Gap (where we need customization).
